Description

Our client, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the plastics injection molding industry, has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Engineer. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives aimed at achieving revenue targets and increasing market shares within the plastics injection molding sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets within the plastics injection molding market
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients, identifying their needs and delivering customized solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to shape sales strategies and refine product positioning
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and quotations, clearly communicating the value of products and services
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms aligned with company goals
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in technical sales or business development within the plastics injection molding industry, with a strong understanding of molding processes and materials
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships, driving customer loyalty and repeat business
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, results-driven approach to overcoming challenges
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about sales growth and achieving targets
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities
