Our client, a manufacturer of medical products, has an immediate opening for a Tech Support role. This role will develop a working knowledge of all products, order processing, company hardware and software systems, and quality system requirements relating to customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming telephone calls
• Communicate with customers via telephone and email
• Direct telephone calls not related to customer service to appropriate employees
• Take orders from customers via telephone, mail, fax, email, or website
• Enter orders into accounting software
• Check stock status of requested products and confirm order to customer, alerting the Production Manager of any backordered products
• Print out orders in shipping area
• Pick, pack, and process orders for shipping, adhering to quality system requirements
• Process packed orders through shipping computer and organize packages for pickup
• Enter all required notes and information into customer database software (CRM)
• Handle customer requests for returning purchased product(s)
• Handle first stage of customer complaints
• Manage required prescriptions and paperwork from patients
• Fulfill requests for verbal and printed information
• Follow up with customers who have outstanding rental kits
• Keep Customer Service and Shipping areas organized and tidy
• Assist in marketing activities as directed

Requirements:

• A minimum of a high school diploma
