Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our team. The Soldering Technician will be responsible for preparing and soldering components to support both prototype and volume assembly operations. This role requires a high level of precision, excellent organizational skills, and adherence to safety and performance standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of soldering, including surface mount, thru-hole, and hand soldering.
- Gather components necessary to meet production schedules.
- Set up equipment and solder components together with high accuracy.
- Document production traceability and feedback in the data collection system.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production processes.

- Knowledge of soldering processes and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Commitment to maintaining accuracy, safety, and quality in all tasks.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Position requires U.S. person status as defined by ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
- Must be physically capable of performing soldering tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Must wear assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
