Description
The Rework Specialist will be responsible for performing electromechanical repairs and supporting inventory record-keeping procedures within the manufacturing process. This role requires expertise in both SMT and through-hole rework techniques, as well as the ability to maintain high-quality standards in the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform component-level repairs on assemblies using both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole rework techniques.
- Solder and desolder fine-pitch components to printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Repair through-hole pads, surface mount pads, and internal circuitry on PCBs.
- Remove and replace SMT and through-hole components as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controls and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and record-keeping procedures.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Assembly Supervisor.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- IPC-A-610 certification required.
- IPC-J-STD-001 certification required.
- IPC 7711 certification required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
- Candidate must meet the definition of a U.S. person as outlined in ITAR 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
