Our client has an immediate opening for a Quality Technician (2nd Shift). This role will be responsible for ensuring that incoming parts, in-process components, and assembled devices meet established quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming parts, in-process components, and finished devices to ensure they meet established quality specifications
- Ensure full traceability for all products and components, adhering to regulatory and internal standards
- Work closely with the Quality Engineering and R&D Engineering teams to assist in the validation of components and finished goods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to promote a productive environment
Requirements:
- Technical Associate’s Degree or 1-3+ years of equivalent education and professional experience in quality control
- Highly motivated and eager to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of both theoretical and practical quality control principles
- Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, comparators, and micrometers
- Experience interpreting blueprints and/or technical drawings as part of the inspection process
- Hands-on experience in lab and/or manufacturing environments
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, preferred
- Experience in data reporting and generating non-conformance reports (NCRs) preferred
- Familiarity with OGP Smartscope vision measurement systems preferred
- Prior experience in a medical device manufacturing environment or cleanroom setting preferred
