Our client has an immediate opening for a Quality Technician. This is a full-time, temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time employee.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming parts and in-process and assembled devices to ensure quality is within set parameters
- Respect and enforce the principles of full traceability for products and components
- Collaborate with the Quality Engineering and R&D Engineering departments as needed to assist in the validation of components/finished goods
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Requirements:
- Technical associate’s degree or 1-3+ years of equivalent education and professional experience
- Motivated and looking to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of theoretical and practical quality control fundamentals
- Experience with calipers, comparators, and micrometers
- Experience utilizing blueprints and/or drawings as part of the inspection process
- Experience in lab and/or manufacturing environments
- Highly organized, detailed oriented, self-starter
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with basic Microsoft Excel formulas preferred
- Experience with data reporting and non-conformance reports (NCRs) preferred
- Experience with OGP Smartscope vision measurement systems preferred
- Medical device and clean room experience preferred
