SUMMARY

Join our dynamic Product Development team and gain hands-on experience in the dietary supplement industry. The Product Development Coordinator will provide high-level support to the Product Development team, assisting in daily operations, handling sensitive matters, and acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and is eager to learn about the dietary supplement industry, while also excelling at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Department Support
    • Arrange and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Support team logistics, including travel arrangements, expense reports, and supply management.
    • Work with executive assistants to assist with event planning and coordination for internal and external events, including conferences, team off-sites, and vendor visits.
    • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
    • Maintain organized digital and physical records, ensuring compliance with FDA and industry standards.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate and support projects related to food science, dietary supplement development, and supply chain.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Marketing to facilitate project milestones.
    • Coordinate with contract manufacturers, testing labs, and raw material suppliers.
    • Track project progress, update status reports, and ensure deadlines are met.
    • Collect technical documentation and maintain an FDA-compliant document control system.
    • Gain hands-on experience in the dietary supplement product lifecycle, including research, formulation, and compliance.
    • Learn about FDA regulations and industry standards that influence product development in the natural health space.
  • Relationship Management
    • Act as a point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, partners, and cross-departmental teams.
    • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), collaboration tools like Zoom or Teams, and other software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, or CLM systems).
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Interest in dietary supplements, natural products, and product development.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are essential.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in a project coordinator or administrative support role.
  • Current college student or recent graduate with a focus on nutrition, food science, biology, chemistry, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate
  • Familiarity with project management tools like MS Project, Asana, Trello, and
  • Passion for natural health products and a desire to build a career in the dietary supplement or natural health industries.
