
Description
Our client, a medical device company, has an immediate opening for a Production Technician. This role will be responsible for following assembly instructions, performing quality checks, and ensuring that production processes meet regulatory and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality product output
- Conduct quality checks to confirm that products meet established quality standards
- Comply with all relevant policies, guidelines, and safety requirements as outlined
- Complete all administrative tasks related to business or regulatory requirements in a timely manner
- Report any issues related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials to management promptly
- Provide on-the-job training to colleagues as needed to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to facilitate smooth manufacturing operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend written procedures in English
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Familiarity with office computer programs
- Previous experience with small parts assembly is strongly preferred
- Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industries is a plus
- Cleanroom experience is a plus
- Ability to use small hand tools and assemble small mechanical parts
- Capable of using hands to handle, finger, or feel materials
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach within arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision for precise assembly tasks
