Our client, a producer of medical devices, has an immediate opening for an Operator. This position will be responsible for performing medium to high complexity assembly operations in the production of planar-based biosensors for core analyzers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly operations involving a variety of epoxies, solvents, and chemicals as required
• Maintain a high level of attention-to-detail throughout all assembly processes
• Work under a microscope for extended periods to assemble and inspect components
• Operate various process equipment, including but not limited to, auto dispensers, pipettes, laser cutters, and electroplating equipment
• Understand and follow assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions, and documentation to assemble products
• Effectively communicate issues and concerns to management and engineering teams
• Assist with sensor card preparation, UV epoxying, and packaging of finished products
• Perform repetitive tasks with focus and efficiency, ensuring all products meet quality standards

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent; Trade School certification preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong math skills and attention-to-detail
• Ability to adapt to both seated and standing work positions as needed, with the ability to lift up to 20 lbs when required
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with QSR/ISO regulations is preferred
• Knowledge of AP, TP, OI, and OP training is a plus
