Description
Our client, a producer of medical devices, has an immediate opening for an Assembler on the second shift. This role will be responsible for processing various reference sensors, air detectors, and non-sensing devices for both core and OEM analyzers.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble various products using a range of materials, including epoxies, solvents, and chemicals
- Operate production equipment, such as automatic dispensing machines, UV adhesive systems, ultrasonic welders, laser coders, soldering irons, and leak testers
- Follow assembly procedures, including interpreting drawings, verbal instructions, and related documentation
- Maintain attention-to-detail to ensure the production of high-quality, precision products
- Meet established manufacturing schedules while ensuring compliance with quality standards
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Trade School diploma a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in small assembly, working with epoxies, and using small hand tools
- Strong math skills and attention-to-detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to use small hand tools and operate various production equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend assembly instructions, drawings, and documentation
