Our client, a manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a Finishing Technician. This role is responsible for assembling, grinding, polishing, and finishing metal components to meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Grind, sand, clean, and polish metal parts to remove defects, burrs, and sharp edges
• Apply various finishing techniques to achieve the required surface textures and appearance
• Operate finishing tools, including hand grinders, polishers, belt sanders, and deburring equipment
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and aesthetic requirements
• Work closely with production and design teams to resolve finishing and assembly challenges
• Report any issues with part quality, equipment, or processes to supervisors
• Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools and equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced job shop or manufacturing environment
• Experience with grinding, polishing, deburring, and finishing metal surfaces
• Proven work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for detailed finishing work
• Capability to lift and handle materials up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with hand tools and power equipment
