WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a driven, self-starting IT Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for hospitality technology. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and is committed to delivering highly personalized service. They should exhibit excellent people management abilities and uphold high expectations and standards.
The IT Manager oversees all computer and software technology systems, as well as data and voice communication, ensuring seamless operations. This role reports directly to the Director of Finance and requires a self-motivated, tech-savvy professional who excels under tight deadlines with keen attention to detail and accuracy. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and fostering a culture of respect, growth, and development within the IT team.
- Ensuring the availability of critical systems, including NorthStar and operational systems, 24/7.
- Establishing and maintaining user procedures and hardware familiarization for all systems.
- Contributing to technology capital and operating budgets.
- Managing and distributing IT equipment (laptops, monitors, keyboards, etc.).
- Administering system services, including user accounts, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Overseeing server infrastructure management, performance monitoring, OS upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Supporting various hotel systems, including back-office, sales, catering, and human resources applications.
- Providing system support services such as outage diagnosis, troubleshooting, restoration, and virus protection.
- Offering direct guest support and quality technical assistance for function rooms and conference services.
- Assisting with systems backup and recovery procedures.
- Managing relationships with third-party vendors.
- Providing 24/7 support for mission-critical systems.
- Supporting network security, Active Directory maintenance, server infrastructure, and network infrastructure (wired & wireless).
- Implementing network protection and failover tools (firewalls, web security, multi-homing devices, etc.).
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director and Director of Finance.
- Ensuring the highest quality of services provided.
- Filling in where needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Continually developing staff in all areas of professional growth.
- Coordinating and assisting with IT projects, including system changes and upgrades.

The role requires the ability to:
- Communicate effectively and climb multiple flights of stairs.
- Stand, walk, sit, use hands, and reach with arms frequently.
- Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use taste or smell.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- 5+ years of experience in IT.
- Proven ability to lead, execute, and drive results.
- Strong team player with a sense of ownership, accountability, and responsibility.
- Excellent technical background and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
- Open availability and flexibility to meet business needs.
- Prior experience supporting complex network infrastructures.
