Our client, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the plastics injection molding industry, has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. This role will oversee the quality department's activities across the organization and ensure compliance with the quality management system while meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all quality department activities organization-wide
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and systems
• Develop and implement quality metrics to monitor performance throughout various stages of manufacturing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
• Train, mentor, and develop inspectors, quality technicians, and quality engineers
• Ensure strict compliance with established quality standards and customer requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management)
• Proven experience in quality assurance, ideally within the plastic injection molding industry or related fields (Senior Engineer or Manager levels)
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in data analysis, trend identification, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with quality management software and tools
• ASQ certifications such as Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer preferred
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other recognized quality management systems preferred
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team-oriented environments preferred
