Description
Our client, a medical device manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a Cleanroom Assembly Technician. This role will perform and ensure production assembly tasks are actively completed to meet production schedules while upholding the highest level of Quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble products by using a variety of hand and power tools
- Perform machine set up of ultrasonic welders, pneumatic presses, and heat-sealing equipment
- Perform cleaning, pouching, and sealing/labeling of sterile product
- Perform line clearance and start up activities, including scheduled maintenance tasks of equipment and facility
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Experience in an ISO 13485:FDA Quality System Regulation (21 CFR 820) compliant manufacturing environment is preferred
- High School graduate
- Ability to work in Class 7 cleanroom full time
- Excellent manual dexterity to be able to assemble small parts using tools and optical microscopy
- Ability to mix two-part solutions to prescribed volumes to support molding and joining processes
- Ability to perform required gowning actions to work primarily in a clean room environment
- Ability to measure using laboratory equipment, including graduated pipettes and cylinders
- Familiarity with MS Office, including use of Access databases
- Ability to self-motivate and work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated success in planning for complex assembly production flows
