People are actually quitting their jobs and you know what? It’s not a bad thing. When you start to see a pickup of individuals quitting their jobs, it’s a good sign that there is more confidence that they will gain a much better opportunity. It also says that the job market is getting better and that there are positions out there that need to be filled.
For example, a recent report indicates that there may be upwards of 600,000 manufacturing positions in the US going unfilled at the moment. And that’s just one industry. Partly because there is a shortage of those who possess the skills in advance manufacturing buts it’s also a sign of a growing job market.
Not all sectors are seeing this growth as we discussed last week on Fox News in Boston but there are plenty of industries where there is significant growth in the positions available
